Really Bad Powerpoint (And How to Avoid It)

I am sure you have heard me say many times that “you don’t get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression.” After being in the audio visual production business for many years we have seen it all….I’m talking about presentations that fall into the categories of the “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.” Believe me The Bad and Ugly won’t provide the first impression you want. This month we wanted to share some tips on what to do and what not to do when putting together your next PowerPoint presentation. We came across a great article from Seth Godin which hits the “nail on the head”. After you review his article and check out some of the Seth’s examples, you should have some valuable tips that will help you kick your next presentation up a notch or two.

View Godwin's article here.

However, if you have some questions or if you want a second opinion please give us a call at 216-373-7666 or e-mail me at john@x2media.us and we will be happy to review it and provide some comments. Also, we’d be happy to email some examples of what we have done to help our clients prepare powerful presentations that achieve the results they desire.

X2 Media is an expert at helping make our client’s presentations shine which allows you, the presenter, to focus on content and getting your message to the audience in way that it is not only seen and heard, but remembered.

Until next month….remember, “you don’t get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression”. Always make it a good one!
